Arrival and Accommodation


You will be accommodated at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel close to the Old Town of Regensburg.

The Courtyard Marriott is a four star hotel close to the Old Town of Regensburg and directly at the autobahn exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein.
If you arrive by train or plane, please disclose your arrival time and place to us in due time to enable us to meet you at the train station resp. the airport.
The best avenue by car is directly to the hotel. There we will give you a warm welcome. We please you to disclose your approximate arrival time to us. We want to be prepared accordingly.

In the following a few short directions in case you will travel by car:

Arrival by car from the south: Coming from Munich (München) on the A93, you will arrive at the autobahn junction Regensburg. Just drive straight ahead into the direction of Weiden. There will be many exits in close proximity. You will drive through a short tunnel and cross the River Danube (Donau). Leave the autobahn directly after the bridge over the river at the exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein (No. 39). Take a right turn at the exit. You may see the hotel already, but proceed a small way straight on. Take a right turn into the next street and after that take another right turn. At the end of this road is the parking place of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where we will expect you.

Arrival by car from the west: Coming from Nuremberg (Nürnberg) on the A3, you will arrive at the autobahn junction Regensburg. Leave the A3 and take the A93 into the direction of Weiden (to the north). There will be many exits in close proximity. You will drive through a short tunnel and cross the River Danube (Donau). Leave the autobahn directly after the bridge over the river at the exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein (No. 39). Take a right turn at the exit. You may see the hotel already, but proceed a small way straight on. Take a right turn into the next street and after that take another right turn. At the end of this road is the parking place of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where we will expect you.

Arrival by car from the north: Coming from the direction of Weiden on the A93 you will approach the north of Regensburg. At the exit Regensburg-Nord you stay on the autobahn and you will drive through a tunnel. Leave the autobahn directly after the tunnel at the exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein (No. 39). Take a left turn at the exit. Crossing below the autobahn, you may see the hotel already, but proceed a small way straight on. Take a right turn into the next street and after that take another right turn. At the end of this road is the parking place of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where we will expect you.

Arrival by car from the east: Coming from the direction of Passau on the A3 you will arrive at the autobahn junction Regensburg. Leave the A3 and take the A93 into the direction of Weiden (to the north). There will be many exits in close proximity. You will drive through a short tunnel and cross the River Danube (Donau). Leave the autobahn directly after the bridge over the river at the exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein (No. 39). Take a right turn at the exit. You may see the hotel already, but proceed a small way straight on. Take a right turn into the next street and after that take another right turn. At the end of this road is the parking place of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where we will expect you.

The last mile to the hotel:

Starting a few days ago, there is a construction site on one of the described access roads to the hotel. Thus, you might not be able to take the first right turn after the exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein. This street might be blocked. But this is no problem: Just continue on the main street for a few hundred meters and take a right turn into the next street. After another right turn you just drive back the few additional meters.
